Be the reason why young people could enjoy a new beginning

Be a Foster Carer

Whatever stage you’re at in life, you could help to provide the advice, support and caring environment children of all ages in Trafford need to enjoy a new beginning. In fact, you could be the reason why they grow in confidence, make new friends and enjoy going to school. And as we offer full training, competitive payments and a strong support network, you don’t need relevant qualifications or experience to help make a difference.

We’re looking for caring people of all ages and from all walks of life who have room in their home and room in their heart to become a Foster Carer. You could be single or married. You could work with children or your own children could have left home. Either way, you’ll be able to provide stability and attention to young people as part of a team of Foster Carers who look after children from babies to teenagers and who also provide respite care for children with disabilities.

Life as a Foster Carer can be challenging but it can also be great fun and highly rewarding. So, if you’re patient and tolerant with a good sense of humour and plenty of energy – come along to our Open Day on 10th OCTOBER and have an informal chat with our Foster Care Team. We’ll be at Longford Park Athletics Club in Stretford between 12 noon to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm. Alternatively call us on 0161 912 5050 or visit: www.trafford.gov.uk/fostering
